- I’d forgotten how relaxing it is to take the train to. It’s nice to have that dead time to read, doze, do homework, or just catch up on life-in-general. There’s also something that saying “I take the train to work” implies; I’m not sure what it is, but it’s interesting.
It implies that you’re the common (wo)man, workin’ an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. Don’t know why you can’t do that with a car, but it seems more… jane-schmoe-ish on the train.
I was thinking more along lines of it being rather European, haha. But that works as well. :)
