In which I appreciate the opportunity for professional development

The good news is that lots of people read yesterday’s pity party post about how I miss my family (don’t go looking for it, I put it back into draft mode so I can reflect on it for a few days).

The bad news is that some of those folks who read it are my coworkers.

Ooooooooooph.

Look, I miss my family.  Being separated sucks.  But sometimes making a decision and moving forward and discovering that it was the wrong decision is better than dithering endlessly and not making a decision at all.  That’s what we did, and right now, I feel like it was probably a more right than wrong choice. Probably.

Just stop asking me if I miss the kids.

Yes.  Yes I miss them.
